Privacy Policy

AutoResell (“we”, “our”, or “the service”) provides operations, financial reconciliation, and inventory automation software for eBay sellers. This Privacy Policy truthfully and transparently explains what data we collect, how it is used, how it is isolated and secured, and how you can exercise your rights regarding your information.

1. What We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide the platform's operational and financial features:

  • Account Email: We collect your account email (via Supabase magic-link / Google sign-in) when you create or authenticate your account.
  • eBay Store Data: eBay data pulled through the official eBay APIs for stores the user connects (orders, listings, fees, feedback/account health).
  • Product Costs: Product costs the user enters (unit cost of goods sold) to calculate accurate gross and net profit margins.
  • Google Sheets & Drive Access: Google Sheets/Drive access ONLY when the user connects Google (scopes: spreadsheets + drive.file — the app creates and writes the user's own profit workbook, and accesses only files it created or the user attached).

2. How It Is Used

Your data is used solely to operate the user's dashboard, P&L, sheet sync, repricing and inventory automation for their own stores.

Our Strict Privacy Commitments:

  • Never Sold: Never sold to any third party.
  • Never Used for Advertising: Never used for advertising or marketing profiling.
  • No Unauthorized Sharing: Never shared with third parties except the processors needed to run the service (Supabase hosting/database, Vercel hosting, eBay and Google APIs at the user's direction).

3. Data Isolation & Store Lifecycle

We enforce strict per-account and per-store boundaries across our architecture:

  • Data Isolation: Each user's data is separated per account and per store; one store's data is never merged or shared with another.
  • Disconnecting eBay: Disconnecting eBay stops syncing immediately.
  • Deleting a Store: Deleting a store purges that store's data from the app (the user's Google Sheet files are never deleted by the app).

4. Tokens & Security

  • Encrypted Tokens: eBay and Google access tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
  • No Passwords Stored: Passwords are never stored (sign-in is via email link / Google).
  • In-Transit Encryption: All communications between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs are encrypted in transit using TLS / HTTPS.

5. User Rights & Data Deletion

Users can request export or deletion of their data by emailing the support contact. Requests are processed promptly without undue delay.
